How it works
Surface replica is a non-destructive inspection technique that consists of casting a faithful imprint of a surface zone with a dental paste or specialized polymer, for later laboratory analysis (microscope, SEM). Standard: ASTM E1351.
It is the reference method for in-situ characterization: fatigue cracks, intergranular corrosion, erosion, wear, microstructures after heat treatment. No part removal is required — the replica preserves micrometric resolution without disassembly.
