The Kronos technology benchmark is a neutral engineering service that objectively compares several surface-treatment technologies for your specific use case. Our independence from equipment manufacturers guarantees an unbiased comparison — we do not resell one technology over another.

2 to 4 weeks depending on complexity. Step 1: scoping with your engineers (1 day). Step 2: technical analysis and data collection (5-10 engineer-days). Step 3: report delivered with a substantiated recommendation.

Can you be judge and party when you also sell machines?+

Kronos sells its own machines for shot peening, flapper peening, blasting cabinets, instrumentation, consumables and custom tooling. On these scopes we explicitly disclose at the start of the benchmark that these solutions are among the options studied — full transparency. For processes where we do not sell (HFMI, cold working, ultrasonic, laser peening), our neutrality is total.
