Training objectives
Roto peening training according to SAE J2277 and AMS 2590 — portable rotary peening for rotor blades, weld beads and accessible areas in MRO workshops. 2-day programme targeting wind, rail and aerospace engine operators.
Typical applications: blade root retreatment, fatigue rework on structural welds, fast interventions without cabinet disassembly.
Detailed curriculum
Rotary tool, media fixed on wheel (tungsten, steel), intensity and coverage in roto configuration. SAE J2277, AMS 2590. Differences with flapper and shot peening.
Execution on specimens (wind blade, weld bead). Pressure/speed parameter setting, inspections. Assessment + award of roto peening certificate.
